ATC CEU Information

The Advanced Training (ATC) covers the curriculum in a hands-on interactive format, as well as through mentored case studies, over a 4-day period.   Attendance is required to complete this course. Sign in and sign out sheets for those wishing CEU hours will be maintained by event staff. Pro-rated credit will be awarded those who arrive late/leave early. At the close of the program and upon review of attendance and case studies, CEU certificates will be distributed to learners who completed the entire training. For those who attended a partial training, attendance hours will be prorated and CEU credit certificates will be mailed within five business days. After a learner has successfully completed the course, the learner may use the designation “iLs Advanced Practitioner.”

Upon successful completion of the Advanced Training Course, you will be able to:

  • Identify the outer, middle and inner ear and explain their relationship
  • Explain how sound is transmitted from the outer to the inner ear
  • Explain which music selections one would chose for each of the following:  increasing balance and coordination, reading skills, and mental energy
  • Explain the relationship between the vagus nerve and auditory stimulation
  • Explain how sound and movement impact the vestibular system
  • Demonstrate the ability to operate the iLs Pro
  • Demonstrate the ability to individualize a protocol for a client
