The 1-Day Practitioner Training Course (PTC), also available as a distance course, covers the curriculum in a hands-on interactive format. Pre-course reading materials and a quiz will be sent out to learners prior to the course. A completed quiz and attendance is required to complete this course. Successful completion of the entire course will result in 1.0 AOTA CEU. Sign in and sign out sheets for those wishing CEU hours will be maintained by event staff. Pro-rated credit will be awarded those who arrive late/leave early. At the close of the program and upon review of attendance, pre-printed CEU certificates will be distributed to learners who attended the entire training. For those who attended a partial training, attendance hours will be prorated and CEU credit certificates will be mailed within five business days. After a learner has successfully completed the course, the learner may use the designation “iLs Associate Practitioner” and are qualified to purchase the iLs Focus and Kick Start. The Interactive Language Program is also taught in the training. Trainees may become resellers of home equipment after they have completed the training requirements as well as their own listening program, and demonstrated satisfactory knowledge of the equipment.
